I know its early. But it can work as a hype thread, predictionh thread, and evenmtuelly if the matches comes up on youtube, a video thread.

The main reason though Im making this thread so early is because oli is traveling to japan in august! And if I managed to find the tourney I will join it with mky two brand new controllers extreme mint N64 and golden hori. (all that swag in one place)

Whats even cooler is that several europeans have shown legit interest in going, and even isai will most likely be there. At least around the tourney date. So if more people are interested, pls hop on the nintendo64train, and let us smasher unite on a japan travel journey that will be an experince of a life time!

Its amazing that so many players still play this old game, and share knowledge and love for the game that brought us so much joy and excitements in our lifes<3

okay so here I reveal myself with a personal post, and try to spread joy and happiness, and all I get is 3 pessimistic comments?

Well you can all go **** yourself in your own **** and eat your ***** while you **** your asses penis.

I dont care if you dont wanna go. At least show some hype that some ooc might show up, and possibly the biggest ssb64 tournament of all time.

I can't go this year, BUT I am totally open to going sometime in the future. It would be so awesome if we can get a bunch of people over there for the tourney. If we are seriously going to get a bunch of people over there from NA though, this is probably something we need to get rolling like 5-6 months in advance to get a good turnout. Its awesome that Europe is is going to show up. Get Bear out of retirement I wanna see Bear/Kikoushi kirby dittos in GF.

I have a major problem though, I have yet to play the japanese version without cracking up at the sound effects the entire game.

I really want to. Depends a bit on financials and schedule, but I think there is a good chance I could go.

clubba let's take a trip to Japan next year.
Glad to see people stepping up =) Yeah Im totally aware of financial, and long planning time. Most of the reasons Ive yet to attend Apex. I was more grumpy about the little enjoyment and bashing. So far its Jam thats most likely to join me, but Bear is back from retirement, and I´ll do my best to convince him to join as well as other euopeans. Hopefully Isai can take some americans with him as well =)

Ew best of 1? Japan's tournament format is bad and they should definitely feel bad.
I´ll try to learn to say "best of 3?" in japanese before I go. Hosting the largest ssb64 tournament ever, is good enough reason to dont feel bad though.
