Hi all. I dont know if this was already asked but do you think there will be an option to change the language to english when we get the japanese copy of smash? I know you can do that in melee (dont know about brawl).

Most Japanese versions of games don't have other language options, but if they do, it will significantly increase my faith that the English version will have Japanese on it.

I believe that it won't, as there wouldn't be a reason for the separate release dates.

Yeah, the English localization isn't even done yet so why would the Japanese release have it?

Actually, at this point, the English localization is most likely done. The game is supposed to be released in 30 days, after all. That said, when the Japanese version went gold, the English localization probably wasn't done yet, so I doubt there is an English language option in the Japanese version of the game.

That's what I meant the Japanese version was already being prepped for manufacturing/gone gold whilst the English version was still in the works. Plus there might be some localization differences with things like the trophies where one got swapped for another (It's happened before, but I doubt they would do it in Smash 4.)

Maybe for the Wii U version at least for voice acting it could be possible.
