Japan/USA controller compatiblity

So I'm ordering a Japanese Wii and a Japanese copy of Brawl, but I want to play with the GCN controller. Can I use my American GCN controller in my Japanese Wii?

On this subject, can I use my American classic controller in the Japanese wiimote?

Is there a difference? I hope you can read Japanese BTW.

I just set up my JWii today and it worked fine with my American Wiimote, so I'm assuming it shouldn't be a problem with American GC Controllers, but I don't have any way of checking. As far as I know, it does work. I asked this question before and was told they do work.

Anyone know if there's going to be a language switch? I know most NTSC games have one.

well browsing the japanese wii itself, there was no language switch. Hopefully the game itself does.

i just bought the japanese version of brawl off of play asia, and am getting a japanese wii as well. as far as the language goes, i somewhat doubt there will be an option in brawl to switch to english. i would definately be happy if they're was, but im not expecting it. at least with smash the only language stuff at all are the menus, which should be easy enough to navigate
