Top of the morning to you, Smash fans! As has become tradition for this time of the week, we’ll once again be leaving the present to go pay a visit to the prehistoric days of Japan Time Time. Weeks are going by quickly, and by this rate we might even catch up to the present day before the game is released! How wonderful!

This week, we’ll be revisiting Ike’s dramatic appearance, discovering the Subspace Emissary, and wondering once more why it says “Mother” on the front. Make sure to burn down all sports almanacs in your possession before this new trip! If you do that, I’ll give you a treat and let you drive the time machine just this once.

<p align="center"><img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/dddueljj2.png" alt="Attention, duelists! My hair declares this image to be SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME." />
<strong>No, you fool! Our destination is not time to d-d-d-d-duel! It’s Japan Time Time!</strong>

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" alt="ThErE wOn't Be AlTtExT fOr EvErYtHiNg I sAy ToDaY, zOoM. BoOhOo bOoHoO!" /> <em>Last time we left off, we had just seen the strangest update ever, the one entitled “This World”. We won’t be solving its mystery this week, but it’s good to recap just in case.</em>

<strong>WEEK #10: July 23rd to July 27th, 2007</strong>

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/stages/stage07.html"><strong>Day 45: Entry 53: Rumble Falls</strong></a>
<em>The screen’s constantly changing, so it’s fun just to watch, too.</em>
(Sure, if you want to DROWN.)

“Hey, guys! Wanna play a game of Smash? All right! This is great, let me pick the stage! Oh, I know! Ice Climbers Mountain! I love that stage! Hey, guys! Where are you all going like that? Guys? GUUUUUUYS!”

Who wants to be like this kid? Who wants this tragedy to repeat itself? Only, of course, with “Ice Climbers Mountain” replaced by “Rumbling Waterfalls”. I can’t quite put my finger on why everyone, including I, pretty much hated Icicle Mountain. While all fun stages were banned from some tournaments, Icicle Mountain was banned from <em>everything</em>. Maybe it’s just because you had to spend entire portions of the stage just jumping to avoid falling off, giving some characters a very stupid advantage and forcing you to focus on surviving more than, y’know, fighting.

THUS! Rumble Falls might just be playable and, heck, even FUN if they slow the thing down. I see some ladders and what may or may not be a small springboard, which may give heavier characters an edge in “not dying”, too. Could they be learning from their mistake? We’ll only know when the game’s out, I guess!

Also, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat? Um, all right.

<strong>DAY #45 RATING:</strong> 2 Yoshi Eggs out of 5

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/yoshi.html"><strong>Day 46: Entry 54: Yoshi</strong></a>
<em>He can now use his up special move, the Egg Toss, to increase the distance of his jump.</em>

Now, at this point it would be hard to believe that he WOULDN’T be there, what with the Yoshi stage and Yoshi song and all. He hasn’t really changed at all, either! But what’s up with the quote above, anyway? That’s awesome, yes, but someone please explain to me how it WORKS. Does he tie a rope to his eggs, now? Does he hide inside the eggs he throws himself? Do they open some kind of singularity he pops in and out of? Did Dr. Wright name him Mayor, granting him such inexplicable powers? Yet another unsolved mystery. Curse you, Japan Time!

I’m torn between a 1 and a 2 here. We all knew he was going to be there, right? …Argh, I can’t resist Yoshi!

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/stages/stage08.html"><strong>Day 47: Entry 55: Skyworld</strong></a>
<em>Not having a floor does increase the danger factor, though. Why?</em>

You know what’s weird? The fact that the Underworld theme will probably be the default song playing here. But this is SKYworld! That’s impossible! Why are they bending space and time to fit their musical needs?!

Completely empty nitpicking aside, I wonder how fragile a floor we’re talking about, here. Will brawling for two minutes in a row there break it, or will one guy standing on it for two seconds make it crumble to dust? I’m asking because it would be a bad thing if you had to jump from platform to platform too often. It’s good to throw in a strategic element like that, but if the jumping around derails too much from the fighting, we may have another Icicle Mountain on our hands!

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>That might just be me nitpicking at myself, but I think that right there was the most boring paragraph ever written in the history of mankind.</em>

Speculation aside, the place looks pretty gorgeous. They really went to town revitalizing the look of a franchise that never really got to take off, to many’s dismay. Here’s hoping that the game will inspire Nintendo to officially revive Kid Icarus! And make it look like THAT.

<strong>Day 48: Entry 56: Footstool Jump</strong></a>
<em>Using your enemy’s spine like a spring to launch you into the air is pretty fun.</em>
It IS! But… speaking from experience, it can get you sent to jail. Just a word of warning.

Now, while the idea of jumping from Kirby to Kirby to Kirby and collecting a 1UP is a fun one, I think getting jumped on like that could get old pretty quickly. Wario looks pretty helpless, here, and those screenshots bring to mind nightmare scenarios in which an eight-year old cousin I never knew I had walks into the room, takes a controller and proceeds to jump on me repeatedly, giggling madly as I tell him to cut it out already. Then I do my best not to scream at him as he seems to have the time of his life bouncing on my character’s poor head, and then I get frustrated and stop playing.

I’ve never been very good with kids.

BUT! I’m mostly kidding, here. It does mention that you need “perfect timing”, after all. And who’d bother with something that ineffectual when you need perfect timing?

No, he’d wavedash in circles around me instead. Stupid kids.

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/assist/assist04.html"><strong>Day 49: Entry 57: Knuckle Joe</strong></a>
<em>The guaranteed hard hitter of Kirby’s world!</em>

A bit of history: Apparently, Knuckle Joe became a minor meme on 4chan after his update only went up at 4AM, infuriating the people crazy enough to stay up ’till then. (I know this because the lurkmore wiki has become a bedside read of mine recently. Now I get significantly more jokes that are spammed out of context everywhere on the Internet with alarming regularly! Idiorts! Hahahahahahaha.)

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>And now you know my dark secret. I actually had a link included here, but eeeeeh, I’m not sure, I think that site has some NSFW content so I’m not taking any chances.</em>

That’s a pretty awesome Assist, though, theme song of this column aside. I might be a liiiiittle biased, though, from having played a lot of two-player Kirby Superstar and being fond of the Fighter ability. So, it’s nice to see him popping up here! Hey, assist trophies are neat overall, anyway.

And, um. I guess this means Street Fighter’s Ryu won’t be in the game after all, huh?

A pretty dull week, all things told. And dull weeks don’t make for very interesting writing material! But! Tomorrow, I’ll make sure to have an interesting update by posting sexy pics. Yeah, that should do it!

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>Oh boy, oh boy! I posted sexy pics? I didn’t remember that! Maybe this trip through history was worth it after all.</em>

Well, kids, this is where you’d normally be seeing the sexy pics I promised yesterday. But they’re on the Gabbo Show, now. So, instead, here’s Eastern Europe’s favorite cat and mouse team: Worker and Parasite!

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-nviaWnxwo">Click to watch, Smash fans!</a>

<strong>WEEK #11: July 30th to August 3rd, 2007</strong>

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/donkeykong.html#3rd"><strong>Day 50: Entry 58: Donkey Kong: Final Smash</strong></a>
<em>DUM DOO DUM DUMMM!</em>

If anything, I can’t say that’s not original! Although, like with the Rumble Falls, the focus on DK’s latest musical adventure is a little mindboggling. The DK Bongos were fun, sure, but I doubt we’ll be seeing them go down in history. I mean, THOSE don’t drain a bunch of batteries very quickly OR look like a bazooka at all!

Bonus points for the rhythm mini-game, too! If it turns out to actually be fun to play, that could be a good excuse to start using Donkey Kong right there. Of course, it might be a little annoying to use if you happen to be playing in a noisy place like, say, any given place hosting a tournament. (But of course, not like tournaments will turn items on anyway. HA!)

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>Yes, I WENT THERE. If you think them’s fighting words, watch out. I’ve got a <strong>katana</strong>.</em>

<strong>TODAY’S RATING:</strong> 2 Swords of Seals out of 5
<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/world_w_12.gif" /><img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/world_w_12.gif" />

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>It’s not supposed to be the Sword of Seals, I think. Rather, it looks more like Marth’s sword, Falchion (or Falcion Sword if you like the first game’s engrishy opening). But I’ve been taught that altering history could have disastrous consequences, so I won’t touch that!</em>

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/item06.html"><strong>Day 51: Entry 59: Pitfall</strong></a>
<em>Now’s your chance. You can’t help but grin.</em>

Another Animal Crossing item, hmmmm? The evidence is piling up.

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>WARNING! WARNING! Up ahead is a theory that I’m pretty sure Smash Boarders must have seen and debated about a hundred times by now. But I got wind of it and figured I’d talk about it here. Japan Time Time was an exclusive source of Smash news for about like eight people back then, you see.</em>

Which brings me to a point I believe I should have addressed earlier, back when Smashville was introduced! Now, see, when you check the image’s filename, you’ll get something along the lines of “world_15.gif”. When you check from 1 to 11, you get icons for Smash plus the ten series featured in the original game. Checking 12 nets you the Fire Emblem icon (as featured in this week’s scores!), introduced in Melee, then two 404 errors. And THEN, you have the Animal Crossing leaf, followed by a few more 404s and the icons for Wario and Kid Icarus, the new additions to the playable roster that have been seen on the site so far. Following that logic, it would only make sense to, if it doesn’t feature a playable character, isolate this world icon from the rest, no? Of course, I’m just speculating, but that’s intriguing, after all. Also, if we follow that logic, it seems it could still be possible for the Ice Climbers and Mr. Game and Watch to come back, as there are still two holes in what may or may not be part of the “introduced in Melee” range.

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>Okay, you can open your eyes, now! Also note that this is pretty outdated and doesn’t mention the interesting “games are sorted in Japanese titles’ alphabetical list” thing.</em>

But now, getting back to the actual ITEM, that’s rather amusing. A new type of proximity mine, in a way. I had some fun burying Pitfalls in Animal Crossing in my day, and it’s good to see them pop up here again. …I mean, it’s still just an alright item, but anything that’s not another Gooey Bomb is a good thing!

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/ike.html"><strong>Day 52: Entry 60: Ike</strong></a>
<em>WARNING! CHALLENGER APPROACHING!</em>

Welp, there isn’t much I can say about that one. I haven’t played this guy’s game at all! His appearance, however, brings doubt as to whether or not Marth and Roy will be returning this time around. I mean, you can only have so many Fire Emblem protagonists lying around before it gets a little bit stale.

BUT! That’s not quite all for this entry. Because, after all, it did have some interesting implications. This was the first “Newcomer” that would be introduced right on the blog, confirming once and for all that Nintendo had cut the BS, and wouldn’t be waiting for a new nebulously-defined event to tell us those things. We knew that revealing Luigi would no longer pass as Big News, and now, revealing Ike would not either. Thus, we know that, next time they do an official announcement about the game, whatever it is will be <em>AWESOME</em>.

(That’s right, I’ll keep thinking that!)

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>I still don’t know if “Sonic is playable but the game is delayed” counts as awesome or not, all things considered.</em>

Just for that, here, King of Heroes! Have a bunch more swords.
<strong>TODAY’S RATING:</strong> 4 Swords of Seals out of 5

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/stages/stage09.html"><strong>Day 53: Entry 61: Castle Siege</strong></a>
<em>This stage represents the Fire Emblem world.</em>

I’m glad that’s finally settled, because we knew about that stage since Trailer 2, and apparently no one could settle on what game that was supposed to be from, and who those red flags (and the castle underneath them) belonged to. But now we know that they’re not supposed to be anybody in particular, just… a generic Fire Emblem situation! Although I don’t remember catapults launching fireballs at buildings, though… Usually, it was more like three or four guys taking turns trying to hurt the guy sitting in the hallway. I didn’t get very far in the games, mind.

BUT! The important part is that this is the red army’s castle, after all. You know what that means? It’s okay to WRECK EVERYTHING! Phew. I was afraid I’d have to feel guilty about smashing that crazy statue on the right. …What’s up with that thing, anyway? Why is there a ten foot-tall statue of a shirtless guy apparently pulling on a platform in mid-air? Why did they put those things in the middle of what appears to be the throne room? And WHY ARE ALL THOSE RED KNIGHTS WATCHING BY AS WE WRECK THE CASTLE? I mean, I’m all right with that, but it’s a little mind-boggling.

And what’s in the castle’s basement? Oooooh, spooky and mysterious! They won’t tell! They better have chained a dragon down there or something, because the suspense is killing me and it has to be worth it! I’m glad to see they’re keeping at the very least some small secrets for the game’s release, though!

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>If you know thanks to E for All, YOU ZIP YOUR LIPS. For all we know, they might just make an update about “the Castle’s Basement” once they’ve run out of menus to explain in depth.</em>

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/modea/modea02.html"><strong>Day 54: Entry 62: What is the Subspace Emissary?</strong></a>
<em>We’re putting tons of fighting spirit into making this game, so I hope you’re all looking forward to it.</em>

Do I really need to explain how insanely awesome that update was?

<p align="center"><img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/gaijingood2hi0.png" />
<strong>We’re back! Holy crap, did they just confirm Sonic?!</strong>

Hahaha! Not quite, guys. But this is still possibly the best entry in the blog’s history! Finally, the secret to the cryptic entry two weeks ago is solved, and it’s AWESOME. Melee’s Adventure Mode, which was all right but a bit insubstantial after the first few playthroughs, is getting expanded into something awesome with a STORY. And CUTSCENES, and from the look of things some VARIETY! This is like an early Christmas!

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>Considering how close to Christmas we are, this sure is appropriate. …I’m not sure how, but it sure is.</em>

If there’s ONE thing I could criticize, it would probably be the apparent abundance of original enemies. I only recognized the Bullet Bills and Hammer Brother in there, and the rest all seems to have been created specifically for this. I can understand creating a few of those to keep players on their toes, but hopefully it’ll have some more callbacks to the original games. Silly Nintendo! This is a crossover! You can’t do things like “invent new material” here! Oho.

Also, look! They stealthily confirmed Peach while they were there!

<strong>TODAY’S RATING: FIVE Swords of Seals out of 5!</strong>

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>If I’m not mistaken, this is the third five-icon entry after Assist Trophies and Bowser’s Final Smash.</em>

<strong>THIS WEEK’S OVERALL RATING:</strong> 3 Swords of Seals out of 5!
<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/world_w_12.gif" /><img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/world_w_12.gif" /><img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/world_w_12.gif" />
A pretty awesome week, despite what the low score might make you think. An all-new character, and the Subspace Emissary! That’s more awesomeness material in those two entries than some of the earlier weeks put together.

And now that this week has ended in such an epic way, what could they have in store next? What entry would follow in this one’s footsteps, and perhaps even try to raise the bar?

Hahaha, you’ll see.

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>You’ll also see that not only Smash is getting a semblance of a storyline! What do I mean by that? You’re about to find out. Onwards to part three!</em>

<strong>Earlier today, on Floor 59 of the Japan Time Time office skyscraper, inside Vice President Nerd from the First American NES Zelda Commercial’s office…</strong><img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>I don’t think that needs to be said but it’s not really “today”. Time travel is confusing like that.</em>

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
So, Enton, I bet you’re wondering why I called you to my office.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/entonsjv7.png" />
Enton?

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
Yes, that would have been my reaction too. I would have said “Enton”.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/entonsjv7.png" />
Enton.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
You see, Enton, times are changing. People don’t really connect with you anymore. They don’t understand why you’re German, and why you have to be wearing Ratsel Feinshmecker’s goggles, of all things. To be perfectly honest with you, I don’t really get it either.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/entonsjv7.png" />
Enton?

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
And technically, you’re not really an important Nintendo character. Technically, you’re a fan character. I think you may agree with our PR department that it’s lame when people ignore canon and bring in their Dragonball Z original characters and Mega Man recolors to help them populate their Mary-Sue fanfic or sprite comic or whatever.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/entonsjv7.png" />

…Enton.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
All right, all right. I’m getting to it. It pains me to say this, but you’re fired, Enton.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/entonsjv7.png" />
ENTON?!

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
I’m truly sorry. We’re replacing you with a more marketable character. Meet Psyduck.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/psyduckswc3.png" />
Psy?

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/entonsjv7.png" />

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
You have fifteen minutes to clean up your cubicle. Psyduck will be taking your place there, and called dibs on whatever you leave behind. Why don’t you show him around, while you’re there?

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/psyduckswc3.png" />
Psyduck!

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/entonsjv7.png" />
…Enton ton.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/psyduckswc3.png" />
Psyyyyy.

<em>Sound of footsteps. That’s right, I write sound effects. Delirious!</em>

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
All right, they left. How was I?

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/darksrg6.png" />
Most excellent. You clearly have something that the others before you lacked.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/nerdsxj6.png" />
I won’t disappoint you, sir.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/darksrg6.png" />
I’m pleased to hear this… Mr. Mayor.

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/music/music10.html">Cue opening theme! Man, I wish I had the slightest hint of video editing skill or software so I could put something together and you don’t have to picture my GRAND VISION in your head.</a>

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>Oooooh, mysteries and whatnot! I wonder who that shadowy villain could be? His silhouette isn’t making it obvious at all! By the way, the nerd pictured here isn’t me. I look much more dashing. This is the Vice-President of Japan Time Time. Somehow.

<strong>WEEK #12: August 6th to August 10th, 2007</strong>

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/item07.html"><strong>Day 55: Entry 63: Smoke Ball</strong></a>
<em>This is an item that has absolutely no effect on characters… but it’s pretty fun.
<font size="3">absolutely no effect on characters… but it’s pretty fun.</font>
<font size="5">absolutely no effect on characters…</font>
<font size="6">absolutely no effect</font></em>

I don’t know about you, but this item strikes me as pretty pointless. Your enemies won’t know what moves you’re making! Man, could it be that they’re charging up their long range attack, or are they running out of the smokescreen and going to hit me?! The strategic possibilities are endless! You can pick it up… and drop it! And it’ll leak out multicolored smoke in the process! …What do you mean, “that’s it”? MULTICOLORED SMOKE!

I think it’s sometimes apparent which updates I stayed up ’till 3 AM for and which ones I didn’t. But still, I’m being generous today.

<strong>TODAY’S RATING:</strong> 1 Earth out of 5

<a href="http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/ike.html#2nd"><strong>Day 56: Entry 64: Ike: Special Moves</strong></a>
<em>And it is ethereal. Oh, yes.</em>

Wow! Ike can now do the Cutter move and stole Roy’s trademark! I guess that means Kirby and Roy won’t be in the game after all. …waitasec. What they say here is interesting, however, about several heavy characters having no-flinching moves. I have no idea whether or not that’ll have any particular effect at all, but it’s good to see that heavy characters are being given compensation for being slow aside from “hits pretty hard when they actually hit something!”

So, the moves look neat, but I can’t really comment on their canonicity, though, since I didn’t play that game. I think Enton did, though. Hold on, I’ll call him. Enton!

Psy?

Um. Say, did you get a new haircut or something? Anyhoo, what do you think of the canonicity of Ike’s cool moves?

Psyduck psy psy psyduck!

Well, whatever. I don’t speak Pokemon anyway.

<em>You might imagine it to be a bit forced, but I think it sounds quite good.</em>

I can’t help but think it’s just a little bit cocky of them to say that, if you find a fault with the song, a fault they had to mention, no less, you’re probably <em>imagining things</em>. But either way, this is a pretty neat arrangement, here. I’ve heard at least one person say that the fitting-in of the other songs does feel forced, but quite honestly, I don’t see it. They must have been imagining things. I can think of a song from a recent update where the transition from one arranged song to another was… abrupt, to say the least. Guess which one it was, for those following at home!

Yeah, I still like music updates too much.

<em>Look how big she is!</em>
I hope my body can take it…
(I’m happy because for once I’m not doing this for a giant monster or anything.)

First, to get this out of the way: Dayumn, Palutena the hottest revival of an 8-bit sprite I’ve ever seen. Admittedly, said sprite was no Original Peach, but hey.

Now that I’ve shown the world my TRUE priorities, the entry itself! I like this one a lot. It’s a Final Smash that’s pretty flashy and quite original. Plus, bonus points for the reference to the original games, with the centurions helping Pit out at critical moments and generally being useless. This brings me to the only real weak point I can think of, though. Will this be any useful at all? You don’t see that many centurions swarming in in that shot, and apparently they can just be blocked away, making this one potentially useless Final Smash, despite how neat it looks. Hopefully it’ll have just been me!

<em>Is there anything WRONG with having an item that says that?</em>

Well, HELLO there, Earthbound content! I think that wins on several levels. First, and obviously, for not being something stupid they came up with for questionable lulz like a certain item right up here. Second, for being from EARTHBOUND, of all things. Third, for reflecting projectile attacks, because hey, that’s pretty awesome. And fourth, for being FROM EARTHBOUND, like I said. It doesn’t quite work like that, but that’s good enough! Plus, it’s AN ACCESSORY FROM EARTHBOUND MADE INTO A SSBB ITEM. How insanely awesome is that?!

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>I guess technically it’s from Mother 3, but, but… *sigh*</em>

–hahahaha. Oh, hey. Look what Enton just did! I took a picture. That’s adorable! Hahahaha. That’s not where you’re supposed to put it!

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/psyduckbadgexj4.png" alt="Now you feel sad for Enton. Zat is because you are crazy. It has no feelings." />

Oh, hey. It’s snowing early this year. Also, sorry. Next time I’ll try to frame the “JAPAN TIME TIME HEADQUARTERS: Why is this state-of-the-art 60-story building made out of MS Paint anyway?” sign we have right next to that one.

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>About the snowing early comment: This update was written in fall! And now you know. …Maybe our arrival here tore a hole in time and space from which snow fell from, come to think of it. Um. I’ll fix it when we got back home.</em>

<strong>BONUS QUESTION:</strong> That yellow airplane in the first screenshot. For some reason I’m curious about it. What’s that from anyway? Why is there a yellow airplane in the Rumble Falls?!
<strong>A:</strong> Is there anything WRONG with a yellow airplane?

<strong>THIS WEEK’S OVERALL RATING:</strong> 3 Earths out of 5!

This week started out very weak, but the content from Wednesday onwards was pretty satisfying and fun, in general. No particularly substantial updates here, but filling enough not to get any lynch mobs raised this week, at least.

<img src="/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>And that’s all for this three-part retrospective! Before we go, hold on. Let me fix that weird space-time anomaly with snow falling out of it. It’ll only take a second. Tune in next week as we meet Ash/Red/Pokemon Trainer, K.K. Rider and the worst recurring miniboss in the history of man– Wait, something’s emerging from the anomaly…</em>

<strong>AAAAAAAAAAH!! WHAT’S THAT TERRIFYING THING DOING IN THE TIMESTREAM?!</strong>

<img src="http://smashboards.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/phasedistorterfd1.png" /> <em>What the… nooooooo! You can’t drag us into that thing! Who knows what lurks in there?! I’m too young to die on an educational field trip! NOOOOOOOOOOO–</em>

<em>To be continued… next week! Dramatic, isn’t it?</em>

So basically your saying the golden week with the first newcomer and the introduction of the SE is as good as the filler week with smoke ball and franklin badge?
