Are you looking for a venue with Free Admissions, weekday availability, and hours upon hours of Project M fun?
Look no further than Queens College.
Queens College is seeking to become a large venue in its own right. So we are actively hosting these weekly Smashfests to build not only a haven for Smashers to come and have fun, but also a community where we seek nothing but the perfection of our techniques.
Queens College Smashfest aims to provide a venue that is easily accessible to those who can't make it to events such as Nebulous. We wish to say we offer to be an alternative, but we have no such desire to demean ourselves into obscurity. We have aspirations to become a premiere venue, not only to host weekly Smashfests, but also to eventually host biweekly tournaments for those who decide to go a step further.
We are located at the Student Union Building in Queens College, at Room LL22. We have the option to expand within our venue to local rooms should numbers exceed our expectation, so there is never a problem with spacing. We also have a massive room on the fourth floor that we can use to host tournaments in a professional fashion, but that's only if we become large enough to host tournaments.
Our times is from 4:30 PM to 10 PM. Of course, this is a placeholder time. We have always ended around 10 PM, but we can also start earlier than 4:30 PM. The earliest possible is 3 PM. We never go over 4:30 PM as a start time. Of course, when the time comes to reveal the official time for you we will notify you of the actual time of start. So please, enjoy 6-7 hours of Smashing fun.
Our kickoff event is January 8th, 2015. We want as many of you to come as possible. Don't worry; we definitely have the space and the setups to host the lot of you. Trust us when we say you will have an absolute blast!
