Adam Malkovich isn't playable but you're smart because you went really close to reality. Adam is now part of Samus' moveset like the Trainer is for the Pokémons. You have to wait a total of 10 minutes before he gives you the OK to use the specials. Sakurai was really proud of this gimmick

There's Battlefield and a bunch of stages who look somewhat something different, but they're actually still Battlefield.

No but Sakurai realized how important was for Ganondorf to use his weapon. So, yes, I'm glad to officially announce that Ganondorf will finally be equipped with his signature Smith & Wesson this time around. Looks much more like him.

No, Sakurai was so worried of choosing the wrong Fire Emblem characters that decided to put them all as Marth's alternate costumes. Ike, Chrom, Lyn, Roy, Lucina, all of them. EXCEPT Zurg.
