Smash Rookie
Hello Smashboards! My name is alphex and I'm currently in my second year of high school on the island of Oahu. I learned about Smashboards from the smash subreddit on Reddit. I heard that this is a great place to improve your skills as well as discuss all things smash related, so I decided to make an account. My goal for now is to pull myself out of the lowly ranks of scrub level and become at least an average player. After that maybe I can work myself up to a good player, find locals in my area and attend them for some fun.
I started to play smash bros when I was six years old starting with smash 64 however; I never was that good at it. I slowly moved on to Melee and then to every other smash title to date (including project M). My favorite smash bros title is probably Melee however I'm starting to really love the direction that smash 4 is heading in.
My main ever since brawl came out is Ike. The feel of the character really appealed to me. Spacing opponents and being able to dish out heavy punishes whenever someone made a mistake is my favorite thing to do with Ike. I also played Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Since then Ike has become my favorite video game sword wielding hero (sorry Link!).
Outside of Smashbros I love to build with Legos and Knex. When it comes to outside activities I like to go to the beach and swim. I also watch a ton of anime, the most recent one being Plastic Memories! As for other video games I'm a huge Fire Emblem and Halo fan.
