Hey all. I recently got a new OS on my laptop and I installed itunes. This is new and fresh itunes but it doesn't add every song that i want it to add. Like in certain albums, if I go to 'add a folder' it adds the album but with only one or two songs when the album has like 18. I checked the format of these files or if they're corrupt and they're of the same format as the working ones and they're not corrupt. This is rather random as it only applies to certain albums, but all my albums are of the same mp3 format.

These are the songs that worked for itunes and my ipod before. I haven't tried to sync my ipod with itunes yet for obvious reasons tha my library isn't complete yet.

Can someone help me or move this thread to the right place, is media metropolis isn't the right place.

Thanks

Mota

Weird, can you drag the songs files directly into the Itunes and drop them into Library?

If you have all your songs on your Ipod, you could:
1. Plug your Ipod in
2. Open up your Ipod as if it was a USB
3. Change settings so it shows "All hidden files"
4. Should be a hidden Folder called Music somewhere
5. All your music will be there, they'll be renamed with four letters eg "EYRU"
6. Copy all the files and folders onto your PC and then drag them into Itunes Library.

That's all I got, hope it helps.

Yes I can drag any mp3 into my library and the blue plus sign appear by the cursor but some songs don't actully go in. Currently I have only a few songs in my ipod and they are not the songs that don't go into itunes.
