As was shown in the small clip for the announcment of the Subspace Emisary, Peach is in BRawl, and today is her official announcment.

Not a lot has changed, she still has her floating jumps, still uses Toad(s) and has the same back throw.

She is seen however, wielding her Parasol in a new way. Wether it’s a new move, just a new animation of an old move, or a new taunt is unknown though.

Although, the confirmed return of Peach’s B move kind of puts the kibosh on Toad being a new character. I know some people that must be quite unpleased with this…

I don’t think that’s her backthrow. It just seems off. One reason being that Mario’s facing the wrong way. I’m hoping this is a new F-Tilt rather then a throw of hers.

Plus, is this Jungle stage the “Icicle Mountain” clone from before?

DON’T ASK FOR MY SOURCE. You will not be disappointed…

There are 34 playable characters (excluding transformations).
There are 20 starting characters, 14 hidden characters.
Six characters have been removed from the last game.
One of the “Original 12″ has been removed.
There are 15 newcomers (excluding transformations).
All but one of the represented franchises from Super Smash Bros. Melee will be returning.
Two character profiles will be revealed this coming week at the DOJO!! (one veteran and one newcomer).

yes the Peach hype is done lol. it’s about time they revealed her on the dojo. Im not going to believe that thing though. yeah sure we got a vet and newcomer this week but this would have been a pretty bland week if it started off with PKMN trainer and then ended with an item or something. so I think Peach would have been pretty obvious.

hmm… maby toad isn’t her standard special hes her side special… just a thought. i wonder how she uses her parasol in a new way? its probably still her up special but maby she uses it some othe way… maby she could use it like marth/roys side special… and when she uses her up special she might be able to do that thing that was yesterdays update (what was it?)…hmm…oh and i almost forgot;

“Gardevoir” seams pretty cool but if lucardio (sp?) replaces pichu (witch i think he will) then there will be to many pokemon and i spport lucardio more then “Gardevoir” so i guess i forgot lucardio… oh well.

I don’t think Peach has any grappling implement. Who cares anyway, she can jump high, she can float, she can use the parasol to jump even higher, she can even turn the parasol on and off to switch from freefall to float. To top it all off, the parasol damages foes just from being open.

did we get a character update last week? If not tthen him putting 2 characters this week isnt that surprising to me. I would kinda hope for that rumor to be true because it does seem realistic but ive believed many things before that turned out not to be true.

and yes Peach being able to teether would be horrible. reserve that for the characters that would make sense doing it.

Pikamander, when the smashbros was loading on monday I had the wierd feeling of seeing the “new challenger” sign and I was thinking of how much I wished squirtle would in brawl. Super wierd. The peach challenge kinda sounds lame. No offense.

yeah I agree with WeareVenom, you probably haven’t seen Ps3 in high def. Still wii blows the water out of the other systems in gameplay. You rock wii *hugs wii, right leg lifts*.

yeh fox is cheap! i can beat 3 lvl 9 anybodys but i was beaten by a lvl 6 fox in tournament mode with my friend just cause hes so darn fast!
