Some item ideas I came up with recently
Please do not design items like the WVBA, and unless you can raise and lower the sight on Sharla's gun, refrain from gun items that strictly deal damage. The Tanooki tail looks like one of those items that is going to get into the game, whether or not anyone wants it or if it's any fun at all. The sweet spot for the Axe should be closer to the blade. If we get another melee item, I would prefer it be something other than an axe. If the Blue Shell works a lot like the Red Shell did, then it could get pretty amusing. Not every character has the head shape or a head that's accessible for the Propeller Hat, so I don't see it making it. Maybe if you made it a beanie...

The Gust Bellows looks pretty fun and practical! Maybe it can have a vacuum action where the longer you wait between gusts the larger they are. You can alternate between rapid gusts and large ones.

The Dice Block is something that I want to see on a Mario Party stage. It could have multiple uses there, like moving the characters along the stage by paces.

Not only it makes you bigger, it makes even the other players smaller.

This time, if hits the ground it freezes the whole platform for a while, rendering it very slippy. The effect can be nullified with a fire attack.

Usable item: Allows one to strike opponents from a good distance (deals very low damage though, and never knockback) and if you try to grab while holding it, you'll be able to grab someone from very far away, or steal any items the opponent is holding, thus, swapping the whip with that item.

It has 16 uses before wearing out, after which it can only be used to deal low damage from a distance.

Kuribo's/Goomba's shoe from SMB3.


Usable item: Is automatically equipped to anyone who lands in it after jumping, allows the user to jump high and land on opponents for good damage and knockback, as well as helping them get around the stage. They can't use any regular attacks while in the shoe, and it will wear out after 20 seconds. The user is vunerable to damage, but not knockback while in the shoe. It's not possible to jump in the air, so you'll have to be careful not to fall off the stage.

However, if the user is hit by a smash attack, the shoe will be destroyed. A meteor smash or spike can also send the player falling to the ground quickly, destroying the shoe on impact.
