Issues with GC Triggers Using Dolphin

I am running Windows 8.1 using a Mayflash GC usb adapter, drivers from the mayflash website, dolpin 4.0-3919 and I am having problems with the L/R-triggers.
In the Windows 'Game Controllers' properties the trigger buttons show they are registering different sensitivity levels but in the 'Dolphin GCPad Configuration' it only show up as an on/off state, nothing in between. I there are issues with sensitivity on other buttons as well because it is near impossible to short hop effectively.
I would appreciate any help getting my controller to work properly.

You have your settings completely wrong. Under L/R in your gcpad settings that should not be an axis, it should be a button. When you select those two, you want just the click of your shoulders. You should get buttons 4 and 5 respectively. Notice also under your R you have axis Yr+ instead of Yr-+. You should have Xr-+ and Yr-+ for your L/R analog respectively.

thanksm that solved the triggers but the x and y sensitivity still makes it hard to short hop
