Is unplugging you're team mate's controller banned?

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but I just wanna make sure.

If you're about to die and you don't want your team mate to share stock, can you unplug their controller?

concur, also there is rarely a reason you WOULDN'T want them to take it... 2v1 is all kinds of ****... unless you are about to drop the second to last stock.
