I was watching a whole bunch of god ssbb vids (most people probably haven't found these, it's great stuff) and I saw this (at 1:51) in a great metaknight vs marth match, which metaknight uses to win the match, how come I never see any metaknights using it?

@1:51 the Meta uses a reverse Shuttleloop, lands immediately (cancel), and uses Down Smash, with no 'lag/negative frames'. I just was talking about the application of this, and I had mixed reviews. I, personally, use this a lot. The thread "Halberding? Why not." contains a video of me giving a name to Shuttleloop spam. There is no reason that you couldn't use a smash or another attack in place of a 2nd or 3rd, etc Shuttleloop.

its really nothing special, just something you haven't seen, and something that the marth wasnt' expecting.

In a light, that could be said about anything. Relax a little, R1ngo; and just discuss the possibilities. You seem like a pretty cool dude - so play that card, not the agressive one :)

To the OP - practice being able to Shuttleloop like so, so these mix-ups will be in your arsenal for their situational uses! If you have any trouble, just ask and I'd be glad to help. Best of luck - and keep that keen eye open!

yeah, I do this sometimes. you have to land it perfectly if you want to do an attack immediately though. sometimes i just space it so I grab the edge afterwards, which allows me to edgehog the person too. That way, if the shuttle loop doesnt KO them or if it misses, they cant grab the edge. its a little risky though cuz you might get edgehogged yourself.

It is one of my favorite things to do.

As shown here around 0:25 I use it to KO on the actual loop instead.

It is a little risky and takes some practice. If you miss you are on a one way trip to the edge of the screen or in the best case floating helplessly to the platform which we all know is bad against good players.

I recommend you use it in moderation because it is easy for someone to pick up on it if you use it too much.
