Someone said that it might be a perfect pivot plus dash dancing, but it seemly looks like a Wavedash.

Here's the link since I don't use vine and I can't get the video into the "[media]" brackets.

Well, it looks great and (as discussed in other threads) has its uses for sure (at least on the Wii U version), but it's not a wavedash by definition because, no matter how similar some things in Smash 4 might appear to it, the mechanics behind wavedashing don't exist in Smash 4. :p

How to know if you did a wavedash: Did you do the inputs for a wavedash? No? You didn't do a wavedash
A technique isn't defined by its input, it's defined by its application as a technique.

Obviously this isn't achieved by inputting a Melee WD but this sure as heck looks like it has similar applications.

I'd say a technique is defined by its form (post-input) rather than its function. But that's just me being... technical. :3

I agree, a technique is defined by result instead of input. But as mentioned above, this is a perfect pivot, rather than a wavedash.

Still a pretty cool and useful technique. I imagine people will find more practical uses for it once the U version is out.

That is quite the amazing pivot I can see Marth Players and Falcons having an advantage because of this and I cant wait to see how this affects the metagame

The names generally refer nearly directly to its form and its function.

I'd be more impressed if it was a video of him doing something interesting OUT of the pivot, but maybe that's just me...
