i personally havnt used any dvd video recorders myself, but i know alot about video technology in general. this looks fine, and im amazed at the price. i almost want one now lol

...Thirty dollars? ô.o This almost seems like it has to be a rip-off, but judging by the reviews, I suppose it's not.
A rip-off is when you pay too much for something not that great. Unless you mean a rip-off like a Ninteto Gamesquare kind of rip-off, in which case I wouldn't disagree. I think they might be trying to imitate "Panasonic" with the name "Presidian"...Or maybe not...
Anyway, it looks okay...a little shady. It needs 2 AA batteries to run...
