It's not really a good combo, b/c (1) dash attack is laggy and punishable and (2) if your opponent DI's away from you they get popped straight up. It's not the best combo to do, but it's funny when it does work.

It probably isn't very good in higher level play but in intermediate level and lower it works great :D I do it because most people I play don't DI all that well. Although since I don't tend to dash attack very much it gets limited use.

Many versions of TGM. The normal one, which the first post dscribed, and the reverse one, where you hit with tip of the dash attack so your opponent goes up followed by a f-smash tippered. Both are too good.

I've seen Ken use the dash attack to backwards smash before on "forgot who's" Fox (Or was it Falco o_o).

He was doing his usual Up-Throw, Up-Tilt, Fairs, and then his opponent DIed away and landed on floor. So Ken went for a dash attack knocking the Fox up and went TGM on him.

*Laughs at my reference to very old videos*

Dash attack has less lag than you guys think. It's amazing how little lag that move actually has. The really good Marths use dash attack all the time. And of course the TGM combo is unstoppable!

This move is really good when players are camping reeediculous on you, and you overshoot them and hit with the move wayyy behind them, and because they are dash dance camping, this hits ALL THE TIME. It's either that or what like Azen/NEO do (wavedash and f-smash behind their opponent, usually causing a tipper). This was a lot more popular back in like 2005 in the Azen/NEO hay-day so to speak.

You shouldn't be able to call youself "pro" until you know ridiculously good anti-camper tactics like this one :ohwell: Lots of unknowledgeable pros out there I guess.

It's been a while since I've seen that f-smash tactic used by anyone, but me :( And I really am :( :( :( I cannot stress the :( enough... ...
