I haven't seen anything on the subject, and if you have any news, please tell me.

Who knows? Too early to say. Also Smash 4 is too solid a game, I doubt anyone would jump to change it so soon.

True, but seeing how much people love it, I don't see anything suggesting that it wouldn't come to Wii u in the future. I wonder what the developers think.

They're focused on Project M itself at the moment with plans that may take it all the way through 2015. They have no plans of slowing down on Project M for Brawl just yet.

Oh, thanks for the info! Interesting that they have such a large fan base to support a hack of a 7 year old game.

Nintendo's ability to easily patch WiiU games and OS makes hacking the game much more complicated.

Also, it is too soon. The game has only been out for slightly more than a month.
Also also, Project M is a hack of a 7 year old game to recreate the gameplay of a game that's 13, which proves that age doesn't matter much.

Project M exists because Brawl had so many failings as a fighting game. I'd imagine there wouldn't be as much interest in a Project M for Wii U as 1. Nintendo can patch it out and 2. Smash 4 is completely acceptable as a fighting game, changing it would be like Street Fighter players making a hack for the console versions of SFIV that makes it play with 3rd strike mechanics.

Well. Probably not. Nintendo has the ability to update the firmware at any given moment and if you were to "un-accept" your console would brick like it did with the latest update. That and there's really no point in trying to drive a hole into the Smash fanbase again.

They've already said there are no plans to make a Project M out of Smash 4. Unlike Brawl, Smash 4 is not a complete mess.

Considering wiiu homebrew was out before project m, I think not. We don't know (at least publicly) of any vulnerabilities in Smash4, so how would we get it running? We don't have homebrew on WiiU yet, so we couldnt use some trickery with that.

It's way too early to be bringing this up. If there are plans for a Smash Wii U Project M, the Smashboards staff will more than likely notify us in advance.
