Is there anything that we can agree is a GOOD thing?

With every aspect of the game being constantly torn apart and shot down, I'm starting to be convinced that there's nothing we're actually looking forward to.

I've said this before, but I'm being rapidly demoralized out of the fandom and out of even buying the game, and I'm positive that I'm far from being the only one. Why? Because when enough people say that something's trash, I start to believe it, and there are a lot of people saying that about a lot of things.

So is there anything that's actually, you know, good about the game? That we can all agree on?

The game is not even out yet. The only reason the vocal minority are criticizing so loudly is so Nintendo can get a whiff of it and force Sakurai to change it. But I digress.

It's a Super Smash Bros. game. Also, it doesn't have random tripping.

You have to realize that the loudest minority is still a minority.
No one's going to post "Oh I do love this game and I love every aspect of it" because there's just no need to.

Mii Fighters used to be who I was most looking forward to until I joined this place. I thought For Glory would be a decent place to improve. I thought Pac-Man was a reasonable choice with a relevant history.

Impossible. There is nothing that we all can agree is a good thing.

It would be nice if everyone was as hyped about Palutena as I am but some people don't like her. And that one thing has the most likelihood of everyone liking it.

Charizard was whined about within the Pokémon fandom due to being overrated and an attention hog.
Greninja was whined about due to not being from Red/Blue, along with having anime-style says-name-only speech because anime is the devil, only games are canon, blah blah.
Rosalina was whined about due to (I'm ashamed to admit that I, too, made this complaint at first) being Peach with different clothes.
Smash Run and Adventure Mode aren't Story Modes, and you know how popular Waluigi is.

That's just smashboards, and by extension, the internet itself. Smashboards doesn't fully represent every smash fan. If 90% of the site hates the game, there's still 2 milliion people who'll love it afk.

Take the site with a grain of salt. We're pretty much the 4chan of the smash community.

Charizard and Greninja are in my top 5 favourite pokemon. Rosalina is gorgeous and completely not like Peach. Pretty sure it was confirmed we weren't getting a story mode this time.

Also Waluigi is dumb and over rated and should never be playable.

My problem is, I'm kind of isolated. The internet's opinions are the only ones I ever hear. I guess that's why I'm so easily swayed.
