I think everybody knows what I'm talking about, but I'll specify: in the regular games, the stars in the bottom of the character selection screen keep track of how many KOs each player scored through the matches. Since many players in this community play stock matches 1v1, I understand it makes much more sense to use the stars to keep track of the victories instead. However, I usually play with 2 or 3 friends, and we prefer to play free for all timed matches so no one has to wait their turn to play nor has to wait till the other players finish their stocks. In this case, one of the great joys of the game (specially for a couple of friends) is the pursuit of a high KO count.
