Is there a social stigma of switching to Fox?

As previously stated in a thread I made just a bit earlier, I mentioned I have recently switched to Fox after a long time of being a Falco main. Most of my close Smash buddies now only criticize me for switching and complain about it at every instant. Has anyone had a similar situation? I mean, it doesn't bother me too much because I know I will eventually get to a level of play that I am very happy with, but there's still a slight annoyance that people do this in general.

A lot of people tend to switch less because he's a character that they like more than Falco, and more just to win, which is generally frowned upon, I say play the character that you like more.

Yes, but it really is just you not trying to be a tier *esports*. Its more of personal feelings getting in the way. But some people don't like That people want to play a character they find fun but is the best character in the game.
