The pokemon trainer's look is from firered and leafgreen. In firered and leafgreen you get the old pokemon. And how's it not following the brawl rules? Sakurai does whatever he wants. Its not like ur using all 3 at once. Ur using one at a time and swapping. Its pretty much just like shiek. So ur also saying shiek is breaking the brawl rules. And choosing to many pokemon would be WAY to much work.

I'm actually thrilled about it, I'm just glad that this allows Charizard to be playable in SSBB.

I don't see why everyone is making a big deal out of it. Imo, this is a very good thing, not bad.

The new Pokémon Trainer is making me look much more forward to Brawl.

what Brawl rules are you referring to? Fanboy made "rules" don't count, they are a complete load of crap, and never were valid to begin with.

Pokemon Trainer is awesome and its even more awesome that he has generation 1 Pokemon. Sakurai iis catering to longtime fans who played the original (and best) Pokemon games.

People actually follow rules when they play Smash? What's that? Oh I know.
1) No gimmicks, no moving stages. It's hard for me to wavedash. Boo-hoo.
2) No clones. I think they're N00B fodder and absoulete pwnage.
3) Kill anyone who uses a normal run
Lol. I hate everything.

Also, back on topic, Here! Here!
Me and my bros were thinking about that trophy thing on Melee, and how even the PCs were trophies, so we thought Misty was unlockable. We thought her attacks would be like this.
^B: Staryu's Rapid Spin
B>: Starmie's Swift
B: Horsea's Bubble Beam
VB: Throw a pokeball at someone.
Seeing Red in it, well it revives a little hope. I like the idea.

**** yeah it worries me. I personally like to see only new Pokemon as characters, not trainers.
It's definitly a new twist on a style that's been done and im still interested to see how it works, but a piece of me would rather just see pokemon as characters as well.

It's fine. Best new character yet. Innovative, represents the style of the actual Pokemon games better than sing-pokemon characters. It's basically the same sort of thing as Shiek. S'all good.

Doesn't worry me...he actually seems quite cool. It'll be interesting to see how his style of play works out, and what strategies the hardcore players will be able to pull out with him. I actually can't wait, and he;'ll be one of the first I play with when/if I need to unlock him. If they worked him right and he's cool...I might make him a secondary or third string character...after Mario and maybe Pit of course *looks to sig*

im happy its the old pokemon, its the orginal, the ones im familiar with and the popluar ones that were out when smash first started. i dont keep up with pokemon anymore and its nice to have some old pokemon ^^

if he had more then 3 it would be too hard to control and very confusing. The point of it is the 3 starters and 3 forms of each. And its for 3 weight classses which works perfectly.
