Event - EVO 2016 Is the monorail the best option to get around?

We'll be staying at the Luxor, which is quite a way from the venue. We saw this link for the monorail discounts for Evo attendees and it seems reasonable, just wanted to check if this is the best way to do it? Or are there other options?
