Smash Wii U Is the computer more difficult on Wii U?

While playing the 3ds version I rarely even lose a stock against a level 9 computer but so far on the Wii U, I am consistently having a much more difficult time against the computer. I'm sure this has a lot to do with me just getting used to the controls on Wii U as I've gotten to be very accustomed to the 3ds version over the past couple months, but it just seems like the computer is marginally faster at throwing up their shields, punishing, and even using some pretty smart tactics.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing at all either. I like the challenge. I was just wondering if it was just me or if anyone else was feeling the same way?

The only difference I can tell is the shielding. They fight pretty much exactly the same as the 3DS, but I feel like 80% of my dash attacks are getting blocked when I could land most of them on 3DS. Other than that, I can't really tell much of a difference.
