Media Is Spirit Frequency a thing?

Say I wanted to get a Spirit via Summoning, and I have to get rid of some spirits to do so. When I get to Spirit Board, will the spirit I had to say goodbye to appear again more frequently? I just want to know this so I can try to get all the Spirits in the list.

You are correct in your assumption. Spirit you currently dont have onhand will appear more frequency on the Spirit Board, if they are able to appear there.
