So I just beat Classic Mode on Intensity 9.0 and thought I'd share my accomplishment with you guys. As you can see I'm very new to the forums, but have been a lurker off and on since 06' till today. With the release of a new Smash I thought it would be the best time to try and get familiar with the community.

On that note, I'd like to get back on topic and ask if you think the Classic Mode in Smash for Wii U is the hardest when it comes to the series. I personally think so since we have the inclusion of 8-Player Brawls and an improved AI that is actually a challenge to fight. Below is the video of me completing mode, so if you're having trouble especially with Master Fortress than I hope the vid can help you out in some way.

I've played every smash and this one is really the toughest, in SMash64, its not as hard is it is slightly frustrating, as for Melee that one waws about the same as 64 maybe a bit harder, Brawl it wasn't easy but it definitely wasnt hard, Sm4sh is so unforgiving, one slip up and Master Core has your ass for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I totally agree, during the final boss fight the forms that gave me a bit of a struggle were Master Beast and Master Edge :/

Ow the edge lol, yeah the edge really screwed me over as well, even if i got through the others with 2 stock and average damage, it'd still kill me, although when it shot out the circle energy blades, i regained some health with PSI Magnet lol

Really, 9.0 wouldn't be too hard for me if it wasn't for Master Core. Sure, everything before the final battle is certainly challenging, but it's nothing I can't deal with. Master Core's first four stages (especially Master Edges) usually either take me out or just leave me with one stock, and Master Fortress just plain does me in. The best I've been able to do so far is 8.0.

Even intensity 8.0 can be quite a pain for certain fighters. While I did it on my first try with Rosalina, it took me more tries to complete it with Lucina. If I've had this much trouble with intensity 8.0, I'd hate to think how more brutal intensity 9.0 is.
