Hey guys I currently have a Asus VX228H monitor and i was just wondering if that would be good to play melee on if I connect it using a sewell hdmi converters.

Is my monitor good for melee practice?

5 minutes of searching for "VX228H lag ms" hasn't brought me any results. Monitors and HDTVs will always lag. I don't know all of the technical details, but from a few user reviews I've seen, they say it has low lag
Everyone here will recommend you to get a CRT. If you can't, you can keep using your monitor for now. It might be good enough. 3 tournament going friends of mine don't mind playing on a 10 MS laggy monitor, so it is possible for some to tolerate it
