If you really wanna buy the 3DS version so you can play your friends either locally or online, then go for it, unless you can get them over to play the Wii U. It's pretty much the same game but with less stuff and Smash Run. It's still a brilliant game, but I have both versions of the game and I only play the Wii U one, unless I'm out or want to play some friends online. I guess it's up to you, but it's probably better to look at the other countless 3DS games if you haven't got some you'd like, probably a better investment!I'm sorry if someone already made a post like this, but do you guys think it's worth it to buy the 3ds version of the game? I own the wiiu version, but all my friends have the 3ds version.

You actually need the 3ds version to do thatConsidering you can use the 3DS as a controller for the Wii U version, it'd probably be easier to do that instead of buying a whole new game.
