I was thinking about purchasing a Wii just to play Smash. But is it worth paying 80-100 just to play 3 games (Melee, Brawl, PM)? Of course Im gonna put a lot of time into it, but I would just like to know if it is a safe investment.

This is the best answer. I went into an electronics Goodwill a few weeks ago and saw about ten Wii's lined up, all for $40. I purchased a silver gamecube in amazing condition for $15. No need to spend 80-100.You can get a Wii for $20. I bought a black one from a pawnshop sometime ago after my original one finally gave out on me. It runs great. And yes, it is most definitely worth it, if you love playing Smash.
I have to agree. Where are you guys getting $20 wiis from??I have yet to see a $20 wii in my region, but they go as low as $50 here.
Pawn shops.I have to agree. Where are you guys getting $20 wiis from??
Thats where wifi comes in (if you can deal with lag). If you really like smash then its wroth it just be sure to get a wii in quality condition, I personally don't find ebay to be trust wrothy.Make sure you have a scene in your state as well. If you don't, and you aren't gonna travel, it isn't worth, in my opinion.
Not at any pawn shopws here. You may GET $20 for your wii, btu they sell em for $50.Pawn shops.

These are all the pawn shops within a 15 mile radius. I guess it's just part of the fact that everything else here is expensive too... >:/Avoid gamestop at all costs.
