Ok well I recently started playing brawl again and I chose yoshi and my faithful main

I was reading the yoshi guide and practiced a lot of it in between reading it today. I was like yeah I see what you mean really good Ideas.

Then I got to Dragonic Reversals and the Dragonic Trot and stuff like that.

It was amazingly hard though looks cool. I mean I reconfigured control schemes at least 12 times today and it is easier to do at 1/2 but adding in attacks O.o that is just hard. Is it really worth the time to learn? the 2nd way I can see possiblye but not really

like does it have any applications for it that would boost your offense or defense?

and also judging by the video compared to his running speed it does not look like he is moving any faster it looks like he is moving slower rather than faster

Help from anyone that can do it or just spams it cuz they can would be great because they obviously can do it so they know its pros and cons.

This probably should have been placed in the Q&A thread, which I believe Shiri is going to come and say.

Anyways, this is a sort of dividing subject. Some people say the benefits aren't worth the effort, and others say it's a huge benefit and greatly increases Yoshi's ground game. Personally, I believe it's worth learning, but I'm just not tech skilled enough to perform it well yet. =[

I recommend practicing in normal speed. The general best control scheme is:

Y Jump
B Jump
C Stick - Smashes
A - Attacks
X - Specials

You switch B to jump and slide your finger down from Y to the C-stick. You'll learn the motion and timing eventually.

DT when done correctly, does increase moving speed, IIRC.

:yoshi: Please ask this in the Q&A thread or the DR thread. Thanks. :D

P.S. - The only person that can decide if the technique is worth learning is you. It's our job to help you learn the technique enough for you to make an educated decision.
