Is it worth it?

Ok, say you have the funds to buy a Japanese Wii AND to import Brawl. Is it worth it?

I mean, I can't read a word of Japanese. But the character names and the announcer are in readable, so that's good. I assume the menu's are easy to navigate? I can pretty much figure out what does what?

Or is it vital that I know Japanese? :\

No your just going to end up buying the American version if you want to play with you friends.

I think that if you must play and want a headstart, then yes. it's worth it.

I know Japanese (though not as fluent as I once was), and my friend (who also shares this account with me) got the Japanese Brawl game disc yesterday.

He's gonna buy a Japanese Wii today (still waiting for his call) and sell his American Wii for $350. The Japanese Wii will cost him $370.

When the game is released on March 9th, he will sell his Japanese (buying it New today) along with Japanese Brawl as a bundle online. He hopes to have it sell at a price so that he breaks even in the end after buying English Brawl on March 9th along with an American Wii.

He seems to think it's worth it...and I agree.
