Is it possible to bring a Xbox One Or Ps4 Controller To A Tournament Local/Major

i dont have a gamecube controller and ive been using a xbox controller for slippi and ps4 controller if i want to play on the wii. Are those controllers Tournament Viable?

I don't think you can connect them, Im pretty sure they would be though.
They usually play on GameCubes which cannot connect to any non GameCube controller because it doesn't have a Bluetooth system and is all wired
However, online slippi tournaments would allow you too since you're using slippi.

I'd say to just save up for a GameCube adapter and controller. You can get an adapter and pretty good quality controller for about $50
