Is claw worth learning?

I'm new to competitive smash 4 and was wondering if it is worth learning to play claw because I feel like with tap jump off its too slow to use your thumb to execute aerials with the c-stick.

you should be fine lol just play some melee and your fingers will get faster in no time

At times when I jump and want to instant up-air I do it too fast and I get a jump-cancelled up smash. So my answer is no, you should be fine without claw.
