Is Brawl going to be Viewtiful?

I appologize if this thread has been done before, and feel free to lock/delete it if it has, but this has been a debate for a while. So here goes.
Does Viewtiful Joe deserve the Brawl Spot?
VFX powers and his Red Hot Rumble abilities could serve as a moveset and unlock a lot of gameplay possibilities. And his games were pretty original when they got released.
On the other hand, Joe has gotten gimicky lately. And it doesn't look like Capcom has next gen plans for him yet.
And finally... since he is capcom, this does minimalize his chances of being chosen over Megaman or a Resident Evil hero. Perhaps not Resident Evil as much but I don't think Joe is gonna beat out Megaman.

Alot of people are saying no. This is due to the question isn't should he be in brawl (as in would he fit), but does he deserve a spot over other chacters (such as megaman). With only a few 3rd party slots available, I would also have to say no. Also, I should say I like joe as a chacter so I'm not saying this out of spite.

But you are right about this thread being done before so prepare for some flaming people.
