Is brawl going to be online?

I have been hearing all these rumors about how awesome it is gonna be when brawl is nline, but I have yet to see a conformarion. Did I miss something or did sakurai not confirm brawl to be online yet?

They did not officially confirm it on the Dojo, but Sakurai said a while back there would be online... as well as many other rumored confirmations.
