Because I am and it kinda bothers me because I'll be playing it on a smaller screen. I'm prob gonna buy the XL in the future, but for the time being I'll be with the orginal. What about you guys?

Yeah. I have a launch 3DS. Never saw a reason to replace it. I've still spent less money on 3DS games than on the system itself, so upgrading at this point would make zero sense. I also find it more comfortable to hold than the XL. The bigger screen is nice, but I prefer how snug the original is.

Had the original since launch; in hindsight I regret doing that because it was in anticipation of launch titles that got delayed anyways. Until it breaks, I don't feel like shelling out a few hundred more dollars just for a slightly larger screen. Hopefully the game is bearable on the old model.

Yeah XL Has it's both pros and cons defiantly, agreed that the original is more comfortable in your hand but the screen is just to small. Playing Ocarina of Time 3D just didn't feel right to me, felt like way to big of an adventure in such a tiny device. And the XL is pricey and doesn't fit in your pocket aswell.

Whoa, surprised to see more people have the original than the XL! Haha.
Most people I know can't really afford to get one then upgrade, so it's largely a matter of when they got it. In my case, I got the Awakening one because that's the only way the Awakening one was available in America.

Also, might wanna watch the double post, use the Edit button instead to add more information to a post. You can hit Reply to get the quote you want, and then copy and paste that into the post you're editing, too. Don't wanna annoy the mods.

I'll probably stick to playing Smash on my OG 3DS plus it's held up pretty well for the past two years i had it.

Well believe it or not, my first 3DS is an XL so of course I will play with XL, however, my brother's is a Japanese 3DS so I can play his first.

I'm picking up the Smash XL bundle day one if I can. I can't play anything fast-paced on my normal 3DS anymore, simply due to how cramped it is to hold. That, and I can't stand how the buttons feel.
