Is any one else annoyed by Fox's weight and falling speed?

He's a fast faller, so he's pretty easy to combo. And he's light (lighter than Pikachu, who, when I last checked, weighs about 12 lbs in the Pokemon World, but that's not the point), so after I get comboed to 100%, I get Fsmashed/etc.

Does any one else have this problem?

I am very annoyed.
The thing with Fox is: Once you get him off the stage (Which is easy cause is light) its very easy to kill him(Cause he is a fast faller and his recovery is crap)
And because of those things i am still wondering if he is the best....

His recovery is also predictable and easy to counter.

1) Mario/Doc can Cape/Sheet his up-b
2) Marth/Roy and Link/Y. Link don't have to fear as they have a sword.
3) Many characters' attack's hit range can hit Fox before his up-b hurts them. (One time, as Mario, I was facing a cpu Fox for the heck of it, and when he did his up-b to me, I pressed Z and I grabbed him unharmed)

Im not annoyed. I luv his fast fall, I dont mind being combod for a sec, considering I allways get my revenge. His recovory is ez to edgeguard but you can do some tricks to get on the ledge. Yea you can grab him out of his UpB.. but whose gonna UpB right into you.. unless their rrrrly dumb..Ugh, ima stop cuz I've been up all night and im a little tired.. I might regret posting.. So yea..

Fox's falling speed is actually a very good thing for him, it speeds him up a ton. when he's off the stage, his recovery is actually amazing due to it's huge range and large # of options. It's very *not* predictable, you can illusion to the edge, above the stage, to a platform, shorten it to the edge, etc. you can firefox toward the edge, above the stage, sweetspot the edge from above, go above the edge and fastfall to the edge, go to a high platform, etc. there are tons of options and it's only easy to edgegaurd if *you* are easy to edgegaurd.

yea, I get annoyed about it, but probably only because I'm not very good

oh yea, with people that have swords, what should you do if you are very close to the edge, but can't quite get there since they keep swiping, at you, so the only thing you can do it to fall and die

No no, we are not saying he is a horrible character, we are just saying that even with great DI you still get combed like crap, if ya know what i mean.

Fox is a great character. Fast falling characters make it safe to jump around, unlike a Luigi.
If you get grabbed by a Marth DI away.

Fox is the best. No one is saying he's bad, just that he has some weaknesses. Granted, these "weaknesses" also help him in places.

Fox's jump height and speed are good for his shuffle game, but his falling speed makes it godly.

If you're annoyed by Fox's weight and falling speed, you can just go play Samus or Ganon and stop whining. Fox isn't that easy to edgeguard, and has one of the best recoveries in this game. Even if you do manage to get hit while recovering, just tech it. Learn to tech, it's really not that hard.
