is 3DS Max 2015 too new?

Hi I downloaded 3DS Max 2015 to make alternate costumes because it was the newest edition, but I then got this message when importing .DAE files
"Warning: Collada format (1.5.0) newer than supported format 1.4.*. Might be weakly supported."

I've read that the warning message that appears after importing doesn't really matter, but I wanted to make sure that everything's fine. Are there any other 3DS Max 2015 users here that make alt costumes that can say it works?

I've got this same message if you are using windows 8 try running it in windows 7 mode
