Sup Smash Board, this is my first ever post here, so congrats.
A little about myself, I play fighting games and smash bros. I would rather not go deep into on why I spereate Smash..... I'm 19 yrs old if any of that matters. I draw, play fighters at tourneys even I get the chance to, And dabble in voice acting.
Anyway I have few ideas for a super fun, salt inducing Smash mod. Please note I have not the slightest idea how to create modes or AR/Gecko Codes to even make any of this possible. I'm hoping some experienced vet there would find this post and maybe act on it. At the least I can offer to do is provide custom artwork.... Maybe.... So, uh, yeah, lets get started!

As for game to build this own, Brawl seems to be an easier choice (so I assume) and with Brawl EX, the roster can be expanded. I would perfer Smash 4, because as I said about the ledge, but only after modding becoming more accessible.
Please let me know what you guys think about all of this?

Heres what I got:
- Smash 64 hit stun to make combos fun but more deserving.
- Some Melee/PM physics for wavedashing and make the game faster.
- PM timing windows on things like L-canceling, Wavelanding.
- Smash 4 B-reversal inputs.
- Smaah 4 Clashing system, but only jab will leave you plus on clashing, sorta making it akin to Street Fighter's Parry mechanic, this will still work on projectiles.
- Perfect Shielding auto reflections projectiles back on frame one, 3/4 the recovery time than normal shielding, would be akin to Just Guard from games like Gulity Gear and Garou.
- All Nairs auto cancels on landing to make combo start up universal, recovery would be half as fast l-canceling, but still make it easier for beginner players.
- Smash 4 Rage system, but it would be a high risk mechanics. I have two ideas for this
- A.) Rage would have to manually activated when a certain percentage range is met (kill percent more than likely), and make a player auto self-destruct after a set amount is time. There will be an increase and range. The more damage you take before activating it, the longer you have till you "blow out" and auto SD. So in comparison, its like fusing SFxT Pandora system with UMvC3 X Factor system, making it do or die in usage

- B.) If player activate Rage, they will do a 3.0x (subject to change) damage boost for a set amount of time (maybe like 15 secs) , afterward for the rest of the stock they will permanently do only 65% of their total damage.
