Yoshi43DS
Smash Rookie
Hello Smashboards! I’ve been viewing this site for a while and I just made an account. I’m a Yoshi main no matter what. I do believe he has a lot of potential and there just needs to be someone to use it. While I don’t believe I’m a top playr at all by any means, I’ve been getting better after just starting competitive a couple weeks ago. I have a 3DS (No smash tho), a Wii U with smash 4, and all DLC, a switch, and a hope to buy smash 5..
I started with brawl at a friends house. The first character I ever played was Yoshi. While he’s different from brawl to smash 4, I fell in love with him and played him a lot. Later, I got smash 4 for my Wii U and my friend and I played it at least 4 hours a day until my disc LITERALLY broke. After a year of no smash, I went out and bought a new disc. I tried competitive. (With Yoshi of course.) The community was great and it was really fun! I now practice my skills every day online and in training mode.
Anyways, my main games I play are Smash and Splatoon 2. I also enjoy Mario odyssey and speedrun it at times.
So far I’ve learned to tech, DI, learned some of the competitive terms, and gotten a lot better. (I still needa know what a smash DI is tho lol)
Anyways, that’s my intro! I hope on getting better and making guides and giving tips to my fellow Yoshis as well as anyone else who needs help. But only when I get good. Which ummm...... might be a while
