I was tinkering around and I noticed something a bit odd. While various projectiles can be reflected by Fox/Falco's Shine, they do different amounts of damage back:
1.5 times damage
Samus's Missiles and Blaster
Doc/Mario/Luigi's Pills/Fireballs
Ness's PK Fire/Flash/Thunder
Kirby's Cutter
Pichu/Pikachu's Thundershock
Link/Young Link's Arrows, Boomerang and Bombs
Yoshi's Egg (Splash only)
1.0 times damage
Falco's Blaster
Bowser's Fire Breath
Peach's non-Turnip items
Ice Climber's Ice and Blizzard
Zelda's Fire
Sheik's Needles
Yoshi's Egg
Mr. G&W's Sausage
Now there are two oddballs.
Peach's Turnips seem to do somewhere around 1.25 to 1.3, but when using a Stitchface, it does more around 1.45 time damage.
The other is Fox's Blaster. Fox's Blaster does 1.0 or 1.5 times damage based on how close you are. The distance for 1.5 times damage is about opposite ends of the bottom floor in MKII, and anything further does 1.0 times damage.
Another interest property is when reflecting damage, it stales the Falco/Fox reflecting, and not the character that used the projectile.
Nothing fantastic that would help but interesting little thing nonetheless.
