Smash Apprentice
Hey all,
I'm posting to see how many people would be interested in a new series of Brawl Tournaments held at UCLA.
First things first: I'm not Aesis, nor am I posting on behalf of Aesis (I'm not sure what the status of the old monthly series is =/ ).
Anyways, I'd like to see more tournaments at UCLA and my fraternity wanted to hold more fundraising events so I've convinced them to give Smash tournaments at try. Previous UCLA tournaments have been awesome so we're going to try to stick to the old format as much as possible (hopefully even use the same room in Ackerman). These will be the first tournaments we've hosted so we can't promise the awesome efficiency that Aesis had but we'll be doing our best and learning.
The tournaments will most likely be held on Saturdays, be both doubles and singles, and use the standard approved ruleset. I'm definitely open to help and suggestions from the
community.
What I need from you guys are ideas for a good date for the first tournament. Right now I'm thinking January on the 10th or 24th (to avoid conflicting with the UCSD event). Also I need to show a good amount of interest to the frat to make sure these happen so please post!
