Instant wall jump on FD?

Whenever I've ever tried to do the bair/uair ledgehop -> regrab ledge on FD I do a wall jump that consumes my DJ too. Does anyone know why this occurs and if there is any way to clean up my form so this doesn't happen? Thanks

Control stick or C stick to aerial? If your using the control stick you might be imputing away too quickly. I think your doing something like this by mistake.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJgDB264asI
Also try to get off ledge with an away input instead of down.

No with the cstick, I've done it too. If I'm hanging on ledge and I use cstick for a bair it will make me wall jump sometime
