Is there an actual forum or specific email that I can contact Nintendo at to submit a few ideas of mine? Online play is a dreaded experience; no matter which mode you choose, frustration is BOUND to ensue. "For Fun" is more lax (obviously) but you have to deal with non-Omega stages / items. "For Glory" is for more serious players, but with the slight delay (in any match) and constant smack talk through player tags, it's frustrating, win or lose. I'm not sure if anyone agrees, but I think the utilization of name tags should be limited to just the account name. It is frustrating trying to play, just to be bombarded by constant taunts "ez" "cry" "lol" "spammore" (as if you can spam with Little Mac?) "getgood" etc.. even racial slurs are commonly practiced. Whatever their account tag is should be their player tag at all times. This isn't a rant about Nintendo's online experience, as I'm sure it will get better in the future, but more a rant of the online experience igniting frustration, only for it to be enhanced by a player taunting. I know "it shouldn't bother you" but my competitive players will know what I mean; and I think it's an easy fix and one that should definitely be practiced (IMO).

That sounds like some pretty obnoxious behavior. I wouldn't blame you at all for being annoyed by it. It's not something that should happen and I feel like saying "it shouldn't bother you" can encourage people to tolerate behavior that really isn't worth tolerating.

I don't know if there's really an effective way to email Nintendo about encountering that kind of behavior online. That said, I'm pretty sure you can report players on the results screen after a match (by pressing X, I think), which could help with some of this stuff.
