in what way is the classic controller more suited to?

Most people are saying that GC is better, but trust your feelings.

And I know this is a random place to ask, but I didn't think it was important enough to start a thread about. Did anyone else see that Toys R Us commercial with the snapshot of the Wii with a copy of Brawl right next to it? Further confirmation of Brawl cover art, perhaps?

I gotta say...

I played the E for All demo and I'd say I even liked the Wii Controller alone more than the classic controller, unfortunately. I'd go with the GC controller for Sub Space and Online Play, but for sure, try them all out in training mode to choose your favorite! :D

It's all about preference really. A lot of people's hands are too big for the CC but you can buy grips for it. The different control stick layout turns a lot of people off, too. There's also the lack of rumble for the CC.

I like the way the shoulder buttons are layed out (you can hit a Z button with the tip of your finger while pressing the analog shoulder button with the base of you finger) and that you can hit any two combination of face buttons on the CC.

It just takes getting used to and, if you have a GCN controller and are used to it from SSBM, you can just stick with it without missing a whole lot.

And...there're already a bunch of threads about this sort of thing...<_<

You sound like you are confusing "Classic controller" with the wii mote, the classic controller is a controller you have to purchase seperatly.

Wii mote comes originally packaged with the wii and you can purchase grips for it, it otherwhise looks like a remote control.

The classic controller seems more simplistic than the Gamecube controller.

And since i've had to learn how to use a new controller for melee, I will continue my "tradition" and do the same for brawl.

I appoligize for the double post, but this is for people who don't know what a classic controller is, or what the controls for it are.

Controls in brawl will be able to be set to your own likings also.

Oh and the classic controller connects off of the Wiimote.

I'm not confusing anything. I know all of that about the CC and Wii Remote.

I was talking about these grips:

The Classic Controller really would well however the bizarre design they used for it makes it kinda of uncomfortable to hold for very long periods of time.
