In Smash 6, if Yuri (fatal frame) got in before Kyo (King of Fighters) and Kyo became an assist trophy.

In Smash Ultimate, Yuri was eliminated from being playable as an assist trophy. Typically, being an assist trophy can be worse than not including a character in the game at all. But in her case, I'm glad she wasn't a playable character because she deserves to be an assist trophy IMO.

In my opinion Kyo would be a better addition than Yuri because he would be a SNK representative and he's just as Iconic as Ryu, Megaman, Simon, Bomberman, and Rayman. In fact, I actually support him despite not knowing him or his series very well.

Although I don't know Kyo very well. I support him! In my opinion I wouldn't be surpised if Bill Rizer, Arthur (Ghost and Goblins), Mr Hayabusa, and Jason (blaster master) all got in first.

A while back ago I made a thread here about my opinion about Joker/Ren getting in before bomberman.

But Bomberman is more iconic than Joker/Ren, so why didn't they just have Joker/Ren as an assist trophy, and Bomberman as a DLC playable character?

Well sorta. Bomberman should've been playable. And Joker/Ren shouldn't because of his insignificant support, that's why he should be an assist trophy instead of playable.

Now if in Smash 6, if Yuri got promoted to a playable character, and Kyo became an assist trophy. I would be also very upset indeed. Not only for making a character who would be a great playable fighter an assist trophy instead of playable. But also for making a character who lacks the significant potential to be a playable character a fighter.

The reason why Yuri merits be an assist trophy and not playable in my opinion, is because she's pretty much as iconic as Joker/Ren. I've previously stated above that Joker/Ren should be an assist trophy instead of playable IMO is because he isn't iconic enough like Simon, Pac Man, Bomberman, Megaman, and Sonic. This is because Yuri and Joker/Ren both shouldn't be playable but still be included in the game.

Now how would you react to Yuri getting in before Kyo, who became an assist trophy in Smash 6?
