In Need of some training tips

So I'm still very new to the competitive scene and I'm still trying to work on my fundamentals.
I was just curious to know if you guys had tips on the things I should for sure focus on first, and what regimens you do to practice those things if you have any.

practicing movement is key

i don't have a set practice regimen. i just play at fests and figure out why i lose and then work on that. for example, back then i used to say to myself 'man if i could wavedash out of shield to punish them my punish game would be so much better', so i would practice wavedash oos after that fest.

keep in mind that people are all different and you'll need different tools for different situations. imho, practicing movement should be your #1 priority.
