So far I've had the roughest run in terms of setting up my Netplay. I have been both unable to connect and host to everyone I've tried EXCEPT for one person, who I can successfully connect to without issue. I have a Telstra Technicolour TG787Nv3 Modem(which are made by Thompson which I understand are terror for Netplay). My connection goes; My PC > a Gigabyte switch > Technicolour Modem. I am running no third party firewall software and I have no problems with any other games.
So far I have tried the following troubleshooting with no success;
- Re-checked my Dolphin settings multiple times
- Rebuilt my ISO multiple times
- Forced Port Listening in Dolphin
- Portforwarded(multiple times)
- Attempted to connect via IP
- Turned off External Security in router options.
Any other suggestions or am I doomed to never be able to play Netplay due to my Thompson router? >:
