After a bit of self-evaluation, I've figured out that a lot of my problems performance-wise come from my poor neutral game.

However, I don't know how to actually practice the neutral, so my deficiency just keeps coming back to haunt me. How should I practice this crucial part of competitive play?

My characters are :4charizard:, :4ness:, :4mario:, and :4marth: as a pocket character.

Practice your movement options, practicing spacing. Mixing up your movement patterns make you harder to pin down. Spacing makes your neutral safer and easier to get stray hits which can put you into advantage state. Know your strong options and how to use them in MUs.
