Hi I go by the name of Insightful on this forums, obviously but you can call me Dre .

I am a Pikachu main but I'm pretty much trying to improve my knowledge of every character and match ups for each. I could not find a thread that generally explains how to counter everything with each character. I was wondering if there's a thread explaining that?

Another thing I might add... Can someone explain to me how I can use frame data to my advantage? I feel like I can naturally read frame data and understand the frames and delays in the game, I just don't know how to counter after a frame or how much seconds I have to respond after the frame of their attack is finished before I can attack... I can see the frames, just don't know good counter options over all which kind of why I asked the very first question for the thread that explains the options and stuff you have with each character against each character

Well I wasn't asking for only Pikachu, I was asking for every char. I stated that in the first paragraph. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough on that
One thing I like to do is watch allot of high level game play, for example if you want to work on your Pika main, I'd suggest watching some Esam matches, the dude is sick with his Pikachu. Other than that just take your character into training and really feel them out. Take note of hit and hurt boxes, frame data and the such. As for studying frames there is bound to be somthing on youtube about your main. But most importantly play with other people. Playing on for glory is not the best way to do this, what with the input lag and frame drops, try to play people you know. It's better for practicing mind games and feeling out your opponent.
