Okay, SWF is being pretty terrible lately. Brawl Central is also down so I suggest www.wifiwars.com to anyone who wants some smash discussion. They are forming a smash league when the game launches if you guys didn't know, so if you register with the forums you also can reserve your name.

The thread retaining to the recent spoilers specifically for those of you looking for some info can be found here: http://www.wifiwars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204
Here's what I posted there on page 7, but I'll put it here as well.

I watched a lot of gameplay from the Japanese player's live feed today (unfortunately it's no longer working, don't ask me why!). He played through Classic mode about 5 times, did all the event matches (even the 2P ones, the 2nd player just sat there lol). I also saw him do a lot of single matches to unlock stuff (he would fight like a level 1 computer on increased damage, one stock). It's all in japanese so I'm not really sure what he was getting.

-"Toon Link" came up in a random match as the dark costume (I saw this was on the original post). The image there is pretty bad but basically he looks awesome and very freaky at the same time. HUGE red eyes lol.

-Falco has some new moves this time. I only saw the CPU player control him but to note was that his reflector was much different from Fox's. It did not protect him and hover on him, rather it seemed he was able to throw it a short distance at players/projectiles and then it would return to him. This would be very interesting if you could "shine" players in this manner. He still seems to jump very high and has the "firefox" as recovery. Falco's lasers are blue and go much farther than Fox's (from what I saw in the early demo videos). I didn't see him hit anyone with them so I'm not sure about hitstun and stuff like that. It does seem to be a slower version than Fox's again though. I didn't see too many moves so I can't say how much he is still cloned.

-Ganondorf does NOT use his sword, unfortunately. The CPU seemed to move slow with him but I'm not sure how fast he really goes if you try. He threw a few kicks and punches but again I'm not sure how much of a clone he is (if at all). I did see the CPU use ONE special, his ^B and it did NOT look like Captain Falcon's. It looked more like a rising uppercut.

-Didn't catch any ROB footage, other than seeing him on the select screen.

-Marth's side B seems to have changed, seems to be more of a thrust (unless I was misinterpreting the move that was being used, perhaps neutral B I've been informed)). His Usmash seems to be visually the same but with a lot more knockback than before.

-Saw a lot of Lucario play as well. Lucario looks like he's been made out to be similar to what we remember Mewtwo as. He has the same type of chargeable ranged attack and the way he jumps and moves looks similar in a way. That being said, he is not a psychic pokemon and uses physical attacks. His Dair looked especially useful for racking up damage. Not sure what else to say here, his ^B recovery was sort of like Fox's side B only you can aim it in any direction you want (and I'm not sure if it has any damage/knockback attached to it). His Final Smash was pretty cool, he jumped up into the center of the stage and then from there he shot a beam back and forth across the stage on the opponent (not sure if this just moves around in a pattern or seeks on to enemy characters). It was visually pretty neat and did a bunch of damage.

-Luigi seemed similar (and still awesome!). I saw very few and very short battles with a CPU Luigi though so I didn't really get to note any of his specials. I did notice him do a tornado from the ground and rise very high into the air though. I don't know if it's still his down B and if this can be used for recovery in the air but it went pretty high compared to Melee. (Also a Lvl 1 CPU did it, so unlikely you would have to button mash to do it)

-I saw a bunch of other returning characters but nothing very important to note. Most characters have identical or very similar moves from Melee that I saw. Falcon still has his punch and kick (his kick looked functionally more like Melee's than 64's).

Any questions you can post on the Wifiwars thread, I can't even access these forums usually these days.

Edit: Seems like SWF is getting a bit better at this specific time. Perhaps I will lurk moar here a bit as well.
